Born 9th of 12 children in Smithville, Mississippi, it was fate for Stephen B. Steward to be a great singer.Stephen is a passionate worshiper who has witnessed the healing power of Praise and Worship and reflects that through his music.
Stephen has spent a number of years investigating cases of lifers, murderers, carjackers, robbers and individuals committing other serious felony crimes, to supervising wards of the court, probationers, and parolees. In his line of work, Stephen does not let an opportunity pass by to minister God’s love, salvation, and healing power to his clients. Over the years he has witnessed what he calls “raw redemption, deliverance and healing” where gangsters fall on their knees and say lead me to Jesus, addicts of 30 years restored from heroin and rock cocaine and others healed from sickness and disease when they exercise their faith and have nothing to lose.
Stephen has built a recognizable name for his self through his passion of worshiping through writing and singing. Having more than 200 worship songs accredited to his name, Stephen’s music has captured the attention of the Gospel Music Association, who describes his music as, “instantly memorable”.
