Dallas based popular recording artist, songwriter, producer and Executive Director of Worship Michael Bethany recently released his sophomore single “God With Us” available now for download on all digital platforms. “God With Us” is the follow-up to Bethany’s freshman single, “Favor Grace”. Bethany co-wrote “God With Us” with his close friends, acclaimed songwriters Calvin Rodgers and Phillip Feaster.
“God with us” is a song that reflects the artistic, lighthearted and yet churchy side of me. I am a worshipper, but I also love “feel good” music, and this song allows me to bring that element to my forthcoming album LIVE,” states Michael Bethany.
After relocating to Dallas in 2005, Michael Bethany joined the legendary GRAMMY award winning Fred Hammond as a lead vocalist, producer, songwriter and General Manager for fHammond Family Entertainment Inc. (FHFE). Since that time, he has gone on to collaborate and write several songs on Hammond’s GRAMMY-nominated projects GOD LOVE AND ROMANCE and LOVE UNSTOPPABLE. He also co-wrote the Billboard #1 and BMI Christian Award winning hit “They That Wait.” Bethany can be heard on Marvin Sapp’s HERE I AM, Kirk Franklin’s HELLO FEAR and LOSING MY RELIGION. Michael Bethany has contributed as co-writer for super group United Tenors hit radio single “Here In Our Praise.” He’s also worked with Tamela Mann, The Whispers andMyron Butler just to name a few.
Michael has appeared on several national television networks such as BET, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) and Daystar. Michael has also added to his list of roles Executive Director of Worship at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, TX. Michael is committed to creating and contributing quality music ministry and life building resources to his generation.
Bethany is also preparing for a concert and workshop in Colombo, Sri Lanka where he will launch his new non-profit ministry Global Worship Impact. This ministry utilizes the gifts of music, worship and teaching as tools for outreach domestically and internationally. The ministry’s vision is to “impact the world through worship.”
