Smokie Norful, VaShawn Mitchell, JJ Hairston, Jojo Pada and Monica Bacon Wins Vegas Charity Bowl Championship During Stellar Weekend

Creative Classic Agency’s event series StrikeSplitMix produced a special ‘Vegas Charity Bowl’ edition during this years Stellar Awards weekend where eight charities, represented by eight different teams, competed for the title of winner.  Newly formed charity Gospel Gives earned the championship slot.

The Gospel Gives team smoothly bowled their way to the title of ‘champion’ and was a well-balanced collaboration; Executives Jojo Pada and Gospel Gives founder Monica Bacon teamed up with artists VaShawn Mitchell and Smokie Norful to round out their roster.  Recording artist JJ Hairston joined the team for the final championship round.

The seven other charities represented were St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Miss-A-Meal, Living Water, VH1 Save the Music, United Negro College Fund, and The ASCAP Foundation.  Players included Hasan James (Root Magazine), Canton Jones, Willie Moore Jr., Cheneta Jones, Ryan Akers, Pastor Jason Nelson, Kierre Bjorn, David Michael, Darrell Walls (The Walls Group), Deon Kipping, Stan Jones, Daniel Weatherspoon, Ted Winn, Pastor Marlon Lock, Joncier Reinecker (ASCAP), Darnell Dinkins, Joseph Nolin, Pastor Regina Johnson and Samantha Sims of ChurchandFashion.com.

The three hour bowling tournament and networking event was full of friendly competition, lane-side heckling, mingling and lots of laughter.  StrikeSplitMix produced charity awareness, an environment for new relationships to form and a strong buzz that carried itself throughout the weekend.  Inquiries for the 2016 game continue to pour in.

“We had so much fun!  This was a great way to get the Gospel community together and I can’t wait until next year,” shares Award-winning Songwriter and Producer Stan Jones who was also honored this weekend for his musical accomplishments; Jones led the team representing charity VH1 Save the Music.
