“In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we acknowledge the silent battles many face with mental health. Technology, like the .NET MAUI mobile app powered by Microsoft, offers a beacon of hope. It’s not always easy to voice our struggles, but this app provides a discreet and accessible platform for support. Silence the Shame is launching more than an app; it’s a lifeline that can save lives by connecting us to the help we need, right from our mobile devices,” said Darrell Booker, Microsoft Corporate Affairs Specialist.
The launch of Silence the Shame app will usher in a series of impactful initiatives throughout the month of May, including a live podcast with a special guest on May 15th. These events aim to amplify awareness of Silence the Shame’s special programs, solicit support for increased evolution and reach, and educating the community on the critical role of technology in addressing mental health challenges.
