Myron Williams, President and CEO of independent Gospel Music label Flow Records is proud to present the FLOW RECORDS UNSUNG ARTISTS COMPILATION. Gospel music artists will have an opportunity to work with the award winning platinum certified producer Myron Williams, and have their song included on the upcoming CD, set to be released in the fall of 2013.
The Flow team is searching for talented artists who have songs completed and ready for inclusion on a national CD release.
“I travel the world with my music ministry and I have a chance to meet a lot of very talented individuals who for whatever reason have not achieved success in their pursuit of a career in Gospel Music. I would like to give those Unsung Gospel Artists a chance to have their music heard on a national level with a professional team working to get their voices heard not only by industry executives, but also by Gospel Music lovers across the nation,” said Williams.
Submissions will be accepted from both professional and amateur artists from August 01, 2013 through September 01, 2013, 11:59 PM Central Standard Time. The entry fee is $200 per song and is non-refundable. Songs not accepted for the fall compilation CD will automatically be eligible for the follow-up project in 2014 at no additional cost.
In addition to the prestige gained from participating in the FLOW RECORDS UNSUNG ARTISTS COMPILATION, artists will receive inclusion on a top selling label release, professionally crafted press release announcing the exciting new project to the media and a full publicity campaign for the project by one of music’s most successful publicity firms Girl in Charge Public Relations, marketing by Flow Records elite team of experts, national radio promotion, and distribution of the project to music industry exec’s. (valued at $30,000)
“This is a fantastic opportunity for gifted artists to enter the Gospel Music Industry. It is not a one-time prize; on the contrary it could open the door to a career in music,” said Toska Medlock Lee, Flow Records General Manager.
Select songs will be presented to a panel of industry experts including nationally syndicated DJ’s, record label executives, program directors, and the Flow Records A&R team. Songs that fit the production and musical criteria will be included on the compilation and released nationally.
