It looks like Kim “The Voice” Burrell has parted ways with Shanachie Records, after releasing two albums on the label. Reportedly, the singer is now on the Arrow Records roster.
Arrow Records’ CEO, Cappriccieo Scates announced that the label has inked a “strategic partnership” deal with Pastor Burrell.
The specific details of the partnership weren’t released, however, reports say that we can expect a new album from her in 2013. The album will be a follow up to her 2011 release, “The Love Album”, which earned her two Stellar Awards, the Albertina Walker Female Vocalist of the Year and Contemporary Female of the Year, in 2012.
In other news, Kim recently released a sneak peek of the pilot of her reality show, “Whatever It Takes”. The show stars Kim Burrell, Krishnar Lewis, Karen Smith, Kenneth Jackson & the team members of Manhattan-based PR & Management firm, Lewis Agency.
Cameras have been rolling for over a year now, as Kim & Krish make their way through real hardships, real triumphs, real drama, real life, and definitely real love.
