5x Grammy Award-winning artist Karen Clark Sheard has just released her new album, Still Karen. This album is one of her most versatile projects yet, and fans are sure to love the final product. Executive produced by Pharrell Williams and J. Drew Sheard II, this body of music will give fans all of the nostalgic feels of Sheard’s first record, Finally Karen, with songs produced by J. Moss, Mano Hanes, and Anthony Brown with Donald Lawrence as A&R Consultant.
“I wanted to pay homage to her first record when putting this album together…” says, Karew Records label head, J. “I’m so grateful for the Karew team, everyone at Motown Gospel and all of the producers, writers, contributors, etc we’ve worked with to make this release happen,” says Clark Sheard. “It’s been a while since I’ve released a solo project and I wanted to make sure that it was a special one for the fans. They have been asking for it, and I wanted to make sure that it was not only musically pleasing, but the message would cause someone to grow their faith in God. After listening to the album, if there’s even one person can say that they grew closer to God, overcame adversity or decided to keep trusting God more than before, then it will all be worth it.”
