Joshua Rogers Delivers Powerful New Visual For The Billboard Charting Record “Pour Your Oil”

BET’s Sunday Best winner Joshua Rogers delivers a powerful message with his new visual for his record, “Pour Your Oil”,  which is currently #5 on the Gospel Billboard charts. The young Gospel star’s new music video addresses the pain people deal with when it comes to domestic violence, joblessness and homelessness.

His newly released visual directed by Louis Coleman paints a vivid reality of how people deal with strife and trials in their lives. The common theme in all three of the situations portrayed in Pour Your Oil is pain and fear, yet the desire for a better life is also apparent with each character. Joshua Rogers beautifully conveys the prayerful call to action for any and all circumstances faced by everyday people worldwide.

“I believe this video speaks the sentiments that I conveyed in the song. Pour your oil is a song of repentance, inspiration, and redirecting ourselves back to God.” – Joshua Rogers

“My vision for the visuals in this video came from the title of the record and what it means to “pour” into each other’s lives. We wanted to show Joshua pouring into people by song providing some motivation and love. The same way that God pours into us by anointing us and Blessing us.” – Louis Coleman, Director

“I recognize that I’ve been anointed to do what it is that I do.” – Lucius Hoskins, Songwriter
