Former Bluestar/Pretty Ricky member turned Christian Hip Hop Artist J. Long is featured in the March 2013 Issue of Sister 2 Sister Magazine. Sister 2 Sister Magazine is a nationally distributed monthly U.S. four-color magazine devoted to the world of African-American entertainment.
In the featured story, J. Long discusses his recent “Woman of God” remix collaboration with Angel Taylor, formerly of GRAMMY® nominated and Dove/Stellar Award winning duo Trin-I-Tee 5:7, which is currently available on iTUNES and his years as a member of multi platinum boy band Pretty Ricky and a solo artist under Bluestar Entertainment.
J. Long made his Christian hip hop debut in 2012 with his first Christian Hip hop single“Shake The Devil Off”; an up-tempo feel good tune encouraging all listeners despite their current situations to take authority over the
enemy. Major online news portal Yahoo! Music exclusively premiered the single’s music video.
J. Long recently made promotional appearances at the 2012 BET Awards and at the 28th Annual Gospel Music Stellar Awards in Nashville where he participated in the 1st Annual Saving Our Youth Celebrity Basketball Game that featured his artist Big Rich, Bishop Joseph Walker, III and other notable talents such as Q of 112, Isaac Carree, James Fortune and performances by rising group LIVRE’, among others.
In September J. Long released his first Christian Hip Hop Mix-tape entitled R&B (REDEEMED & BLESSED), which is currently available at www.jfammusic.com.
