In addition to releasing her brand new single, the artist will be featured in the upcoming Airplay 360 Magazine. The brainchild of industry mover and shaker Ace Alexander, the publication focuses on informing indie gospel artists and preparing them for the gospel music industry. Trish will be highlighted in the online magazine’s May/June issue. The magazine can be viewed at www.airplay360.com. Also, on Thursday, May 10th, Standley will be a guest on Babbie’s House. The show, the brainchild of Christian vocalist Babbie Mason, highlights the talents of inspirational recording artists. In addition to performing on Atlanta’s WATC-TV program, Trish will sit down with Mason to talk about her ministry. A future air date will be announced.
A native of Kokomo, Indiana, Trish began singing at her home church. Her songwriting career began when she took her mother’s poetry and put melody to it. Years later, after moving to Atlanta, she continued embracing her musical talents, and studied voice with Canangela Boyd-Robertson of Jan Smith Studios, owned by the famed vocalist and songwriter. Trish formed a children’s choir and served as Lead Director at an Atlanta church. In 2004, she formed the gospel ensemble, AHAVA, which consisted of nine members who worshipped at various churches throughout the Atlanta area.
