With her irresistible charisma, gifted voice, and non-stop work ethic, Gospel megastar Erica Campbell scored a BET nomination for the Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel/ Inspirational Award at this year’s 2016 BET Awards. This year the BET Awards will air live at 8p.m. ET on Sunday, June 26th from Inside the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. BET has yet to announce who will be hosting.
The star’s nomination comes after Erica’s nationally syndicated radio talk show Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell along with co-host and veteran comedian GRIFF has exceeded expectations as many of Erica’s fans get to see her grow and continue to embrace urban culture through different mediums.
Erica brings her uplifting voice, style and energy to the morning show genre as she continues to connect and inspire her fans all across the airwaves, but also helps them with life’s obstacles and motivates them to GET UP! with the use of principles Faith Walking, Love Talking and Joy Living. Each weekday morning, Erica and veteran comedian GRIFF keep the show fast-paced, lively and entertaining, by sharing beliefs, asking fans for their opinions on popular topics, and playing her favorite Urban/Christian/Gospel songs throughout the morning.
Thus far, Grammy® Award winning producer/label head and husband Warryn Campbell, her stylist/ sister Goo Goo Atkins, and Grammy® Award winning sister, WE tv co-star, and one-half of the duo Mary Mary, Tina Campbell, have all made appearances congratulating Erica’s new venture into the radio talk show world.
