The legendary First Lady of Gospel Shirley Caesar has done it again, firing up the charts with her singular talents and stirring ministry on her much-anticipated new album Good God (Light Records/eOne).  Newly-released on Tuesday, March 26^th, 2013, the latest album from the acclaimed Gospel icon makes a smash debut on the Gospel charts at #4, while its hit single “God Will Make A Way,” marks another milestone, rising to #4 to become the highest charting radio single in her career on the latest Gospel radio charts (for April 13, 2013).

Continuing to ascend through the Top 5, the James Fortune-penned and produced single “God Will Make A Way” sets the stage for the rest of the impactful album, as Caesar’s bright vocals and vibrant spirit envelop and empower listeners in faith with uplifting, dynamic lyrics and melodies.  With the latest release of Good God, the 12-track album ushers in another milestone work in Caesar’s pioneering Gospel career, with tracks such as “Nice To Be Nice,”“Good God” with The Thompson Community Singers, a revamp of “Holy Boldness,” one of her early hits as part of the Caravans, and more.
