Robert has been hearing some great things about his rendition of the song. ReviewYou.com says, “Person glides along with his silky smooth tones and easily makes the transition to booming chest voice when needed. Each verse is delivered as an almost personal testimony from Person encouraging the listener to, “Never mind your fears / Brighter days will soon be here,” and other uplifting sentiments that hardly sound preachy or cliché.” Bob Marovich of TheBlackGospelBlog.com says, “Person covers Donny Hathaway’s classic ‘Someday We’ll All Be Free,’ which is well done.” The track is currently in rotation on almost 200 radio stations nationwide.
Person has recently performed at the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Dedication, on Rejoice In The Word with host Bishop George Bloomer on The WORD Network and Babbie’s House, hosted by Christian Artist Babbie Mason. At the moment, Person is preparing for his appearance in the musical Black Nativity. Written by Langston Hughes, Black Nativity is playing at the H Street Playhouse in Washington, D.C. from December 3 – 31, 2011. More information about Robert E.
