The Nashville based ensemble consists of extraordinary young adults from a number of backgrounds, genres, denominations and experiences. The group is led by Nathaniel (Nate) Bean, with an amazing voice, a keen ear for arranging, and an undeniable gift for directing and songwriting. Nate Bean & 4Given has shared stages with Gospel industry elite such as Hezekiah Walker, Dorinda Clark Cole, Kierra Sheard, and Dr. Bobby Jones. These gifted vocalists have a sound and universal appeal that crosses boundaries of genre and race, evidenced by opportunities to provide backing vocals for the likes of Carrie Underwood, Pharrell, Trace Adkins, and Little Big Town. Nate Bean & 4Given now prepare to impact the industry with their debut project Hymns & Devotionals Unplugged which features some of the most well-known traditional hymns and songs with a modern twist. Included in the mix is the funky, groove-infused “Souljah”, and the group’s popular YouTube version of “What A Friend (We Have In Jesus)”, featuring industry veteran San Franklin-Jackson. The album reflects and supports the vow that Nate made to God years ago:
