On Friday February 28? Grammy Winner Donnie McClurkin spontaneously called up Grammy nominated R&B artist Kelly Price to sing at the ‘Gospel Goes to Hollywood’ Pre-Oscar event.
Kelly Price and Donnie McClurkin ad-lib on the song “Better”- a song that was performed by rising family group, The Showers who were the musical guests for the event. ? The family group wowed the audience of who’s who in Hollywood.
“Better” was released to iTunes on Jan 28 and peaked in the Top 30 on the iTunes Christian/Gospel Top 100 Chart. RCA Inspiration recording artist, Deon Kipping wrote and produced the song. The Showers self-titled debut album is slated for release later this year.
