Gospel artist, Donnie McClurkin, mourns the loss of his father, Donald Andy McClurkin, Sr.
The patriarch of the family had an emergency surgery last week at Palmetta Baptist Medical Hospital in South Carolina, but passed away around 1:30am/PT on Wednesday, November 13, 2013.
You’ll recall that his mother, Frances McClurkin, passed away earlier this year on January 18, from complications of a massive coronary heart attack.
Services will be held on Wednesday November 20th with the viewing from 5-7pm and the homegoing service from 7-9:30pm.
The homegoing service will take place at Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York, located at 110-31 Merrick Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11433.
As is our custom all members of Perfecting Faith Church will be attired in white.
The viewing will be for the family only, and the doors at Allen will be opened to the general public at 6:30pm for the service. The burial will take place on Thursday morning.
