Donald Lawrence Celebrates 2014 GRAMMY Nomination for Anniversary Album, “Best for Last”

Award-winning artist, songwriter and producer Donald Lawrence is celebrating a 2014 GRAMMY nomination for Best Gospel Album for his 20-Year anniversary album, Best for Last .Released by Quiet Water Entertainment / Entertainment One Music in September 2013, Donald Lawrence 20 Year Celebration Volume I: Best for Lastdebuted at #1 on Billboard’s Gospel Albums chart.

Boasting a diverse array of collaborators such as Faith Evans, Natalie Grant, Lalah Hathaway, Ted & Sheri and Yolanda Adams, and the hit songs “The Gift” and the title track featuring Adams, Best for Last is a collection that celebrates Lawrence’s dynamic career and showcases the sound that has made him a favorite in music for the past two decades. Best for Last “is the perfect combination of life defining songs from Donald Lawrence’s songbook” says The Root Magazine.

Having won a Best Traditional Gospel Album GRAMMY Award in 2007 for his production of the Clark Sisters album, Live – One Last Time, Donald Lawrence is thrilled and honored about this latest achievement. The 56^th Annual GRAMMY Awards will air live January 26, 2014 on CBS.
