Multi-award nominated, multi-talented Deitrick Haddon has been blazing trails since the release of the Blessed & Cursed Movie and CD Soundtrack. Along with other cast members and gospel artists from the movie, Deitrick has made many appearances across the country via television, radio, and even online. In addition to spreading the word about the movie, Haddon has also used this time as an opportunity to engage in discussion regarding some of the major issues plaguing the Church that were raised in the movie.
In August, on the Trinity Broadcasting Network-TBN, Deitrick declared “It’s time for the Church to come together and operate as one body!”
Just one month later, during a Blessed and Cursed Live Streaming Q&A Session, Deitrick specifically addressed how to live holy, battle temptations and other sensitive topics, which some feel are not being adequately addressed within body of Christ. These too are issues that the movie touches upon.
Haddon’s Bold Statements in relation to love, trust and the current state of the Church are beginning to spark interesting discussions not only online but also among Bible Study groups and friends.
Here are some examples of his statements that are drawing attention:
- “What a wonderful church and what a powerful church we would be if we all would learn how to appreciate each other and love each other genuinely-I’m talking real Love!”
- “We have to learn how to appreciate those that are in our lives that don’t have a hidden agenda…I really believe the enemy is trying to attack our trust-if we can’t trust anybody, then we won’t embrace each other. Let’s follow the mind of God.”
Through Blessed & Cursed, Haddon has developed a unique way of bringing somewhat controversial subjects to the forefront. He plans to continue to address these issues and more during upcoming movie promotional stops.
