CeCe Winans Receives Grammy & Image Award Nominations

Award season is upon us and CeCe Winans continues to make headlines with her first solo release in nine years.  The list of nominees for the 49thAnnual NAACP Image Awards were announced last week and the 60th Grammy Awards rolled out their 2018 nods Tuesday, November 28th.  Winans is now in the running to add an additional two Grammy Awards to the ten now sitting on her mantel.  She received nominations in the following categories: Best Gospel Performance/Song: “Never Have To Be Alone” and  Best Gospel Album , Let Them Fall In Love,

co-produced by her son Alvin Love III and Tommy Sims.  The prestigious music awards show will be hosted once again by James Corden and the winners will be announced on CBS Television Network on Sunday, January 28, 8pm|ET live from Madison Square Gardens in New York City.   Visit www.grammy.com for more details.

Let Them Fall in Love (Pure Springs Gospel/ Thirty Tigers) also landed a NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Gospel/Christian Album (Traditional or Contemporary).  Joining her in the category is Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Marvin Sapp, Travis Greene, and Greenleaf Soundtrack, Volume 2.  Winners will be announced via live broadcast on TV One Network, Monday, January 15 at 9:00p.m./ET.  The show will be hosted by Blackish actor, Anthony Anderson.
