Brian Courtney Wilson is consistently making an impact with WORTH FIGHTING FOR. The album continues to gain ground on all fronts and is being spurred on by his profound title song, “Worth Fighting For.”
Wilson performed the song at Megafest to an enthralled audience with thousands singing along. The song, which peaked at Number 1, remains solid at number 5 on both Gospel radio charts and has maintained a Top 5 position for over 14 consecutive weeks while the album maintains a Top 20 position on the Billboard Gospel sales chart.
His work is also being recognized by his peers having earned two Dove Award nominations this year. The single received a nod for Contemporary Gospel/Urban Song of the Year and the full album was nominated in the Traditional Gospel Album of the Year category.
Coming up on the horizon Wilson has several high profile appearances including performances at The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation later this month and at The International Financial and Leadership Summit Honoring The Legacy of Dr Myles Munroe in Houston, TX on October 1st. Brian can also be seen performing at the WGRB Peace Jam in Chicago on September 12 and at WBLS’ Circle of Sisters in New York on October 18. He will also remain visible on the HELP 2.0 tour and will be a featured performer on the upcoming new season of BET Bobby Jones Gospel.
This summer Wilson used his platform to encourage others with his #WeAreWorthFightingFor campaign. The campaign took hold on social media and garnered support from Yolanda Adams, Warryn Campbell, Pastor Jamal Bryant, Eric Roberson and more.
Wilson also visited the historic Capitol Building this summer to record a few songs for the storied “One Mic, One Take” music series. Wilson offers an amazing acoustic rendition of “Mindful,” in his new video. Watch it below:
