Bishop Larry D. Trotter is “Living Above See Level” and continues to encourage others as a Preaching pioneer, Revolutionary church organizer, Best-selling author, Visionary leader extraordinaire and Senior Pastor of Sweet Holy Spirit Church-Chicago. Trotter’s testimony, wisdom and ministry have been encouragement for many pastors and ministry leaders across the country and the world. Throughout his travels Bishop Trotter has come in contact with various churches and pastors in need of support and mentorship.
From his conversations with pastors and churches, Trotter recognized the need and sought God for an answer. On July 23, 2012, Bishop Larry Trotter followed God and officially launched New Century Fellowship Churches and Ministries in Chicago, IL. In less than a month’s time, 50 churches have come on board and connected with the vision and mission of New Century Fellowship Churches and Ministries. New Century Fellowship has also connected with 2 churches from the United Kingdom.
The vision of New Century Fellowship Churches and Ministries is to form a fellowship of churches and ministries whose attributes are found in Acts 2:42-47. Also to build smaller churches and assist them by sharpening their existing skills and taking them to the next place. New Century Fellowship Churches and Ministries is assigned to “connect the dots” of the denominational, fellowship and reformationial disappointments.
Bishop Larry Trotter does not take this new ministry assignment lightly and is excited to share with connected churches. “I’m excited about using 35 years of ministry experiences to now have the opportunity to pour into new or smaller churches. I believe my kingdom assignment is to build a fellowship where we minister and mentor churches and pastors who have experienced “church or denominational hurt.” –Bishop Larry D. Trotter
Since its launch on July 23rd, New Century Fellowship Churches and Ministries has connected with many churches across the country and abroad. This is a wonderful time for the Body of Christ as churches and leaders join together to fulfill their kingdom assignments. The New Century Partnership Faith Statement is based on John 17. “That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that you have sent me.” John 17
