Worship Artist Javon Inman has experienced an incredible year in ministry with the digital release of his HEART OF A WORSHIPER CD. The singer captured two Gospel Blue M.I.C. Awards at the Independent Gospel Artists Alliance Music Conference this summer in Chesapeake, VA . Inman received Male Artist of The Year and Single of the Year for his radio hit “Redeemer”. He recently received the 2012 DMV Christian Music Award – New Artist of the Year and the 2012 EnSound Music Award for Best Choral Performance of the Year. Inman has ten music award nominations on deck – five 2013 Rhythm of Gospel Music Award nominations and five 2013 South Florida Gospel Music Award nominations.
Although decorated with honors, Inman’s true reward is the ability to worship freely and walk in a personal relationship with God. His fervent worship and heart for God and His people is reflected in his new radio single release “
Come Home” This beautifully orchestrated worship ballad is the second single from Inman’s
HEART OF A WORSHIPER CD which will be released nationally in 2013 by
Central South Distribution.“This song has a ‘Prodigal Son’ theme that speaks of being broken and reuniting with the Lord,” Inman shares. “I originally wrote ‘Come Home’ for someone very close to me, in the hopes that the song would be their prayer of repentance to the Father. Ironically, this song has ministered to me on more than one occasion.” He continues, “Being made of flesh, I have found myself falling from grace and in situations where I did not feel God’s presence. I am always reminded, however, that He was/is right there all the time. And one of the things that I love about God is that we can always come home…His heart is ever-ready to receive us with open arms back to Him!”
The former R&B singer has a dynamic presentation that is surpassed by transparent true worship. His music has been described as containing breathlessly exuberant arrangements and musicianship. Although Inman is considered to be a new artist, the worshipper is setting a new standard for Gospel artists and for music ministry excellence.
