Anthony Brown & group therAPy certainly had Nashville abuzz during the 29th Annual Stellar Award weekend. Prior to descending upon Music City, the Baltimore-based ensemble focused on their mission: to deliver an unforgettable performance and hopefully take home some Stellar Awards. Mission accomplished.
First Anthony Brown & group therAPy blew the Stellar Awards audience away with a spectacular performance of their chart-topping hit “Testimony”. With dynamic vocals and fresh choreography, the group wowed the crowd with a slightly updated version of this fan favorite tune. Many took to social media to applaud them for yet again delivering such a spectacular set.
Undoubtedly, the highlight of their weekend had to be winning the gold. The group’s debut project was awarded with 3 Stellar Awards (2 for the group and 1 creative award):

Category #12: Contemporary Male of the Year
Category #19: Music Video of the Year (for “Testimony” directed by Brand X Media)
To say this weekend was one they’ll never forget is an understatement. It marks a turning point in the Anthony Brown & group therAPy’s ministry and firmly solidifies their place amongst the next generation of gospel stars.
When accepting one of their awards, group leader Anthony Brown brought the focus back to their ministry by honoring God for inspiring their award winning project: “Jesus sings to me, I sing to them, they sing to the world”.
If this past weekend is any indicator, the future is looking very promising for Anthony Brown & group therAPy. Their self-titled, award winning project is available in stores and online now and features the hits “Testimony” as well as their current radio single “Do It Again”.
