Tyscot Artist and Music innovator, Anthony Brown & group therAPy have been blessed with many National performance opportunities, from Mary Mary’s Go Get It Tour, the 2013 Celebration of Gospel performance, BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel, and now a first-time, live performance at the 2013 Essence Music Festival.
That’s correct, on Sunday July 7th; Anthony Brown & group therAPy will perform at the 2013 Essence Music Festival at the Convention Center located at 900 Convention Center Blvd in New Orleans, LA. Their performance is part of the Get Lifted All Star Tribute to gospel trailblazers Donnie McClurkin and Tramaine Hawkins. The event starts at 4p.m. and will feature other top acts in gospel including Michelle Williams, Kim Burrell, Isaac Carree, and many more.
So the question is: what can fans look forward to receiving from Anthony Brown and Group therAPy on July 7th? One thing is for sure, attendees will be treated to another innovative feat, similar to the group’s 2013 Celebration of Gospel performance of their first single “Testimony”. The group’s prior performances along with huge support from radio and fans helped to make “Testimony” a Top 3 Hit they are excited to perform it in front of the Essence Festival crowd.
In the midst of preparing for their upcoming trip to New Orleans, Anthony Brown & group therAPy are also unveiling their brand new radio single, “Do It Again”. A fan favorite, “Do It Again” is bouncy, funky, and fun with a horn-driven groove that reminds us to remember all of the mighty things that God has done in the past and trust that He will “Do It Again” in the future.
