Grammy®, Stellar, and Dove nominated songstress Anita Wilson wowed critics and industry tastemakers with new music from her highly anticipated sophomore album, VINTAGE WORSHIP, at a private listening session on Tuesday, March 18.
Sharing a full length listen of the project at Atlanta’s BMI office, the room was packed and buzzing with a who’s who of industry executives, radio personalities, fellow recording artists, and more. As names like Grammy® winning gospel singer Tasha Cobbs, Grammy@-nominated recording artist Angel Taylor (of Trin-i-tee 5:7), gospel recording artist Ted Winn, R&B songstress Avery Sunshine, Praise 105.9 FM’s KD Bowe, and many more filled the guest list, Wilson mesmerized listeners with the 12 tracks that line her new album.
Clear cut favorites include the album’s electric, foot-stomping lead single “That’s What He’s Done For Me”, “Gooder Than Good”, “Oh How I Love Jesus” (featuring Bishop Yvette Flunder and Avery Sunshine), and the ever-soulful “Keep Doing What You’re Doing” (which was asked to be played twice by the audience).
The acclaim did not stop there, however, as listeners engaged Wilson’s social media handles as well to share their approval of the forthcoming project. A clear nod to the mounting anticipation of VINTAGE WORSHIP, the “Jesus Will” singer will continue to preview the album to limited cities nationwide. The next listening session is set for Nashville, TN, on April 1st.
