BC1Way breathes new life into beloved Gary Oliver classic with new single, “CELEBRATE!”

Over the last decade, Brandon Camphor & OneWay (BC1Way), a dynamic East Coast collective comprised of four lead vocalists – Brandon Camphor, Julia McMillan, Angela Jones, and Fred Cleveland have used their heavenly harmonies to lead music lovers only ONE WAY, to Jesus! As a result, the collective has earned four hit singles on the Billboard Top 30 Gospel Airplay Chart: “God of Mercy,” “His Name,” “You Are God,” and their biggest hit yet, “I Choose You” (which peaked at No. 21 in 2015). “God Of Mercy,” debuted as the #1 most added song on Gospel Radio with over 1 million streams on Pandora.

Their latest release, “Celebrate,” is a fresh take on Bishop Gary Oliver’s classic, “Celebrate Jesus.” BC1Way put an unexpected and delightful spin on the gospel favorite, renewing it with a beautifully blended four-part harmony which has become their signature. “We are excited to introduce the song to a brand-new generation while ensuring that the same gospel message is preserved and celebrated. There’s only ONE WAY to celebrate Jesus, and that’s every day!”

BC1Way’s “Celebrate,” is a reinterpretation of “Celebrate Jesus,” originally written by Bishop Oliver for a children’s Easter program in the late 80’s and officially released in 2000. “I am honored and excited my song has found new life through Brandon Camphor & OneWay. Their harmonies capture the spirit of the song and breathes new life into it for today’s generation,” expresses Oliver.

The most exciting young vocal group in today’s musical landscape, BC1Way, stylistically blends Christian pop, and contemporary Christian, and urban gospel music into a unique hybrid is contemporary yet honors the past. Recently the inspirational vocal group recently released an a cappella rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” which reintroduced The Black National Anthem, to new generations. The celebration will continue into the holiday season with a 2021 Christmas album, Celebrate Jesus
