Detroit native, Lowell Pye’s signature tenor vocals were first heard as a member of John P. Kee’s V.I.P. Choir. In 1991, Pye was featured as the lead in Kee’s “Jesus Is Real. In 1996, he joined Stellar Award-winning group, Men of Standard, the group is best known for hit singles, “In Your Will,” “Winter,” I Will” and “Surrounded.”
Written by Alvin Garret and produced by Fred Jerkins, “Patiently Praising” marks the second #1 single lifted from Fred Jerkins’ cancer awareness project, A Project of Healing. The project’s first #1 single, “Victory” was led by Bermuda based duo Last Call(Adrian Jones and Tricay Astwood). A Project of Healing, encompasses fourteen songs of faith, hope and victory to help those who have been impacted by the disease Cancer. Additionally, the project features songs for those dealing with the loss of a loved one to Cancer and is available now on all major streaming and digital music outlets.
