Week of July 9, 2011 Billboards Top Gospel Songs: Kirk Franklin Smiles From Ear to Ear as “I Smile” is #1 Again

There are a few noticeable changes in the top five of the Gospel Songs charts. One thing that hasn’t changed is Kirk Franklin’s “I Smile” continuing to dominate at #1, even after being on the charts for 22 weeks.

“Over and Over” by Trin-i-tee 5:7 featuring PJ Morton jumps two spots from #4 to #2 this week, congratulations to them.  “My Heart Says Yes” by Troy Sneed drops from #2 to #3 followed by “Nobody Greater” by VaShawn Mitchell, who drops to #4.

Deitrick Haddon’s “Well Done” remains at #5, while “Walking” by Mary Mary jumps one spot to #6. Followed by “I Give Myself Away” by William McDowell at #7 and “He Has His Hands On You” by Marvin Sapp at #8.

Finally, “I Believe” by James Fortune & FIYA featuring Zacardi Cortez & Shawn McLemore drops to #9, followed by “I Need Your Glory” by Earnest Pugh, who remains at #10.
