Two-time Grammy nominated, multi Stellar Award-winning recording artist, songwriter and producer James Fortune is helping rewrite the stories of others through his involvement in charitable works.
James Fortune, widely known for Billboard charting hits including “You Survived,” “I Trust You,” and his current Top 15 radio single “I Forgive Me,” has supported various charities over the years. Fortune served on the Radio Advisory Board for St. Jude Children’s Hospital and supports The Banner Foundation and The Tracy McGrady Foundation.
Fortune was honored when approached by Compassion International, and agreed with the sentiments of Artist Relations Representative, Tyree Morris who stated,”I do not believe that anything takes place by coincidence. This partnership between James Fortune and Compassion International is truly a God thing! The Dear Future Me project totally embodies the mission of Compassion International of ‘Releasing Children from poverty in Jesus Name’ – we are very thankful for the relationship!”
The newly formed partnership will be put into action for the first time at Dear Future Me concert dates on June 22 (Jacksonville, FL; The Potter’s House) and June 23 (Atlanta, GA: The Dream Center).
