BET’s Torrence Glenn is set to premiere a sneak peek of his upcoming radio show, “Barks, Squalls and Altar Calls” today on uGospelRadio.com. According to Torrence, the new show will feature the best choir music of yesterday and today. “Barks, Squalls and Altar Calls” will showcase a blend of classic and contemporary choirs with a lot of independent/local choirs in the mix. The sneak peak for “Barks, Squalls and Altar Calls” airs today at 1 pm EST.
“I’m so excited to partner with uGospel Radio on “Barks, Squalls and Altar Calls”. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and to finally be able to celebrate and feature choir music in this way is really a dream come true,” says Torrence.
“Barks, Squalls and Altar Calls” was created because Torrence feels there is currently a void for choir music in radio programming. As a choir music lover, he believes choir music isn’t played as much as it should be on Gospel Radio. Now is the perfect time for the show because, as Torrence always says, choir music is now.
“Barks, Squalls and Altar Calls” will air every Thursday at 1 pm EST on uGospelRadio.com following today’s preview. Make sure you tune in to be inspired, uplifted and encouraged in only a way that choir music can!
