Today is the 2 year anniversary of the death of America’s Sweetheart, Whitney Houston.  The 48-year-old pop music queen died Feb. 11, 2012, in Beverly Hills, Calif. An autopsy found she had drowned accidentally, with heart disease and cocaine use contributing to her death.

Engraved on Whitney Houston’s headstone are the lyrics ‘I will always love you,’ from the Dolly Parton song she made famous. Whitney Houston’s grave in New Jersey has been marked with a teardrop-shaped headstone, with an inscription well known to her fans: “I will always love you.”

She was buried next to her father in Westfield, N.J., about 20 miles west of New York. Her headstone includes a heart-shaped engraving upon which her image and the words “The Voice” are etched in capital letters.
