The Howard Theatre set dormant in the districts historic Shaw/Howard neighborhood for more than 30 years after the riots in the 1963. Prior to its destruction the theatre played to musical legends such as Aretha Franklin, Sam Cook, Gladys Knight, Diana Ross and more. The theatre has recently undergone a 36 million dollar face lift and is now again one of the cities primary hubs for live entertainment. For more information Click Here.
