Seasoned gospel vocalist Bryan Wilson spent this past Sunday afternoon on the radio in The Big Apple. Popular WLIB/WBLS radio personality Liz Black invited Wilson to come on 1190 AM WLIB to lead 1:00 p.m. corporate prayer and ended up having him co-host the remainder of the three hour “Sunday Praise with Liz Black” program.
During the show, Wilson prayed for listeners who called in to tell him their problems and suggested songs to play such as Jason Nelson’s “Nothing Without You” – one of Wilson’s favorite songs. In the last hour of the show, Black played Wilson’s latest single “It Will Happen,” talked about his preaching ministry and discussed his upcoming CD “First Place Finish” that’s scheduled to release April 22, 2014.
After the show, Black and Wilson went over to the WBLS studios to spend a little time with legendary R&B DJ Jeff Foxx who was hosting his Sunday afternoon urban hits show.
Meanwhile, Wilson’s holiday tune “The Savior Has Come” is beginning to receive airplay just in time to usher in the Christmas season.
