The Southgate Sanctuary of Praise Church will gather to provide hope and inspiration to the Wynandotte and surrounding Metro Detroit communities with the 9th Annual outreach event “Praise In The Park”. Themed “Coming Together In Unity”, the outdoor event will be held August 23-25, 2013 at the beautiful Bishop Park, located along the Detroit River on Van Alstyne from Elm Street to Vinewood in Wyandotte, Mi.
City officials will be attendance to kick off the annual downriver community attraction, the 3-day event designed to inspire, encourage and entertain is expected to bring hundreds in attendance!
“With unemployment at an all time high and life circumstances impacting communities everywhere, we see this as an opportunity to showcase love and to be a blessing to the community. Our desire is to not only provide hope to the individuals within this community but to also help provided a life changing experience for all in attendance.” says Pastor of Southgate Sanctuary of Praise, Bishop Wayne D. Since its first production in 2003, Praise In The Park gathers eager hearts to enjoy evenings of excitement and entertainment. From choirs, to praise dancers, to a children’s puppet show, Praise In The Park has something for everyone.
