Christian singer, songwriter and recording artist Appointed is making a big splash on a national level. Appointed won an award in three categories of the Prayze Factor People’s Choice Awards – Urban Solo Artist of The Year, Urban Contemporary Solo Artist of The Year and Contemporary Solo Artist of The Year. The Prayze Factor People’s Choice Awards will be presented on September 20 , 2013 through September 22, 2013 at the Globe in Atlanta, Georgia and will air live on the Power of Praise Network and rebroadcast on Comcast, Dish Network, and various other broadcasts outlets via The Impact Television Network where winners of their various categories will vie for the honor of overall Champion of the Prayze Factor People’s Choice Awards.
“Earlier this year, I was nominated for five South Florida Gospel Music Awards but failed to pick up a single one. However, this time I actually have received one for every nominated category. I am undone and delighted at seeing how things have turned around for me,” states Appointed. “ I thank GOD for this promotion,” she blissfully adds In the past, Appointed has earned a spot as a Top Ten Finalist in the Gospel Music Channel’s Most Powerful Voices. She also picked up an Urban Inspirational Award nomination and made a national television debut on Atlanta Live. Currently, she maintains the number one local artist chart position on Reverbnation, a music site that host over a million musicians worldwide.
In addition to an upcoming feature write up in Amp Magazine, Appointed is also slated to be a guest on the Wheat Report, Let’s Talk Gospel, and The Cyphers Den. If that was not enough, GOD continues to expand Appointed’s ministry territory, as she is now a new member of Soul For Soul Women’s Ministry, a group that seeks to empower its listeners to experience the presence of GOD through preaching, prayer and music. Her management team is also setting up and accepting bookings for her “Music With A Message” tour.
