deiOxygen Media is joining the ‘Gospel Reality TV’ craze with its own show looking at the lives of Southern California pastors, tentatively titled “Pastors of L.A.”

“‘Pastors of L.A.’ will give viewers a candid and revealing look at six boldly different and world renowned mega-pastors in Southern California, who are willing to share diverse aspects of their lives, from their work in the community and with their parishioners to the very large and sometimes provocative lives they lead away from the pulpit,” according to a press release from Oxygen.

In addition to Bishop Noel Jones and Deitrick Haddon, “Pastors of L.A.” will feature Bishop Clarence McClendon, senior pastor of Full Harvest International Church, Pastor Wayne Chaney of Antioch Church of Long Beach,Bishop Ron M. The church doesn’t belong in the reality television arena.

Fact is Deitrick Haddon just revealed something very scandalous involving 2 other gospel artists on the Facebook social network. Now he’s one of the people that is going to be on the reality show discussing this scandal.

Everyone cannot handle a testimony – saved or unsaved, it can be very damaging. Somethings are lawful but not expedient.

Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ not a particular artist, preacher or ministry.

Now yes we over come by testimony but we all must be careful and responsible with our testimonies. Are they building or creating chaos? Should the testimony be public or for a one on one.

Umm…just a correction, this isn’t about the “church being under attack” primarily because there is not a time where the church has existed, where it was NOT under attack (i.e. disciples/apostles being hung upside down for their faith).

However, it is clear that the church is for sale! Sadly, that’s been the case for the last decade. The church is for sale to the highest bidder, and we all know it’s true. Watching these reality TV Shows will be a little awkward, especially since we all know how much profit they will be making. Bye bye honor…helloooo profit
