Inspired People Music, home of GRAMMY Award winning songwriter Pastor Charles Jenkins, searched nationwide to find an amazing praise and worship songwriter to bless through its Inspired People Music Songwriting Contest. With over 1,000 submissions and a chance to win a publishing deal and song placement on the next project of Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago, the competition was stiff. Taron Berry, from Winter Garden, FL emerged as the winner of the contest for his song, “You Deserve All Praise”.
Berry, a minister, producer and head of Berry Tight Music, wins a publishing deal with Inspired People Music, placement on Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago’s sophomore release, a $1,000 cash advance, a Mac computer, and a gift certificate to a renowned clothing store. Berry was thrilled at the win. “I feel so honored and blessed to have this opportunity,” shares Berry. “God truly deserves all praise. As great as I feel winning this contest, it’s truly God who deserves the glory, honor and all our worship. I pray the song blesses the body of Christ.”
An esteemed panel of judges was assembled to choose the winner. Judges included Stellar Award winning songwriter and Senior VP of Inspired People, LLC, Carlton Jenkins; GRAMMY Award winning mega producer, hit-maker and President of My Block Records, Warryn Campbell; Radio Promotions & Industry Guru and CEO of I Hear Music, Inc.
