The drama continues as season 2 of Mary Mary goes on. In this week’s episode Tina is all ready to get back into Mary Mary mode only to find out she’s unhappy with the stage arrangements made by Mitch for their tour. Erica sings “Yesterday” by Mary Mary solo during the How Sweet The Sound Competition after feeling bad about her solo performance last week. And finally, Goo goes head-to-head with her sisters about leaving for Atlanta to be with her boo. Watch it all unfold below and let us know what you think.

Erica and Tina will never have any peace within their musical endeavors until they realize GOD needs to be the LEADER of the group. God is peace, joy, rest, consistency, stability, and much more. Erica and Tina want the “world’s” approval so they will NOT find peace as singers. Many of their comments center on money and their names on the line if the “show” goes awry. Thus, their focus is on them and not GOD’S WILL for their concerts. What should be the goal of GOSPEL Artists? The answer is to direct people to the light of Jesus through their gifts and how they live for God each day apart from the spotlight.
To be honest, as a Believer in Christ, I am glad to hear the possibility of them separating and redefining their musical goals. All I see is fighting and abandoned families for money, fame, and worldly success within their reality program. This hurts the heart of God because He wants His people to want Him more than what the world could possibly offer. Moreover, God is about family unity not confusion.
Perhaps, you are thinking it is just a show—what we are viewing is not reality. I beg to differ because in “every” reality show there is a huge level of “REAL” within the program. Erica and Tina are NOT happy because they are overly concerned about their personal success rather than sharing the TRUE message of Christ Jesus. God wants His people to “present their bodies (heart, soul, & mind) a LIVING SACRIFICE” holy and acceptable unto Him which is their REASONABLE service to King Jesus for ALL He has accomplished for them(Romans 12).

I disagree with the previous comment on somethings. Erica and Tina are entertainers so they have to focus on their craft and performance to keep building their brand gospel performers. Ministry is not the main focus in the music industry, it is secondary. A gospe artist does not win awards doing minstry but on how many records they sold which is a business. I think they do a good job showing the authentic reality in the music business even as a gospel artist. It is still the music industry, gospel just happens to be the brand they are using. People also have to realize they are in a contract so they are bound to whatever they agreed to because this is their job.
