Say it isn’t so! Trin-I-Tee 5:7 has announced their decision to pursue solo careers. I don’t know for sure if the group is officially over, or if they plan to do a “Destiny’s Child”, where they make solo projects but still do group albums. However, to say the least this has been an eventful year for Angel and Chanelle, as they recently parted ways with their long time record label, Music World Gospel. There’s been speculation about the reason for their split with the label, but an official reason is still unknown.
“Who knows what will happen in the future, but right now, we’re gonna take this time to focus on our solo careers,” says Angel Taylor. “It’s definitely always been my dream and Chanelle’s dream to be solo artists, and you know, it’s time for us to allow ourselves that experience.”
Nonetheless, I can’t wait to hear new music from the ladies and we wish them both the best!
