The Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International, Inc., (fullgospelconference.org) an international faith and family Fellowship, which operates in autonomy, will host its annual Pastors and Ministry Workers Conference – Balancing Family & Ministry, November 1 – 3, 2011. Training sessions will be held at the New Orleans Marriott and Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church in New Orleans, Louisiana.
“The 2011 Pastors and Ministry Workers Conference goal is to assist Christian leadership in understanding that family, ministry and destiny are areas in each of our lives where maintaining balance can be a constant challenge” states Bishop Joseph W. Walker III, Conference Host. “Each of these areas requires full-time attention, causing many leaders to become frustrated and overwhelmed. This conference is designed to instruct leaders on how to restore balance so that family, ministry and destiny do not compete; rather they complement each other.”
The conference will examine the importance of a healthy family unit in doing ministry. It will also examine the motivation for ministry and help leaders to understand the importance of the journey toward destiny. What God is doing now requires significant balance and focus so that what we produce brings glory to His name.
