Dove and Stellar Award nominated gospel artist Earnest Pugh is bringing the praise to the Essence Festival this Sunday, July 6th @ 2 PM CST when he graces the Wal-Mart Stage with a parade of his signature hits such as “Rain on Us,” “I Need Your Glory” and his current radio smash “All Things Through Christ,” a riveting duet with Bishop Rance Allen. The stop in New Orleans is just his latest stop on the five-octave vocalist’s “more of You” tour that takes him to three to five markets a week.
Meanwhile, Pugh and Central South Distribution have just wrapped production on a new EP entitled “Just Worship” that hits stores everywhere on August 12th. The specially priced, eight-song collection features hymns such as “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms” and his own unique rendition of the modern day praise and worship anthem, “Alpha & Omega.” The project also boasts “All Things Through Christ” as a bonus track.
