Directed by Joe Mexican the concept video will feature appearances from entrepreneur, actress and model Kash Howard (Grey’s Anatomy, The Game), actor Amer Baraka(HBO’s ‘Treme’), Orlando Eric Street (‘The Final Destination’, ‘On Angel’s Wings’) and rising young actors Amir Chaney and Titus Showers, Jr.
The Showers jumped onto the national scene in 2013 with their first single “Praise Your Way Through” which peaked at #29 on the Gospel radio chart. Their current single “Better” (written and produced by Deon Kipping) is trending in the Top-40. They have appeared on national television show BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel, ‘Rejoice in the Word’ on the WORD Network and has performed at the ‘Gospel Goes to Hollywood’ Pre-Oscar event among many other high profile events.
The Showers self-titled debut album will hit shelves spring 2015 via A&P Records/Habakkuk Music. The album features production by GRAMMY winner Myron Butler (Tamela Mann, Marvin Sapp), Deon Kipping (Marvin Sapp, Dorinda Clark Cole, Jessica Reedy) and Bruce Robinson, Jr (Latice Crawford, Joshua Rogers, Fantasia) with a guest appearance by former Men of Standard member Lowell Pye.
