It’s been a whirlwind week for social media singing sensation Bri. After months of Instagram fans begging for her to release an album, the 20-year old University of Louisiana student is teasing them with her debut single “I’ll Be The One” (Marquis Boone Enterprises) that was released at midnight this past Tuesday. The uplifting song of faith quickly raced up to #5 on the iTunes Christian/Gospel Top Songs chart and anchors her “I’ll Be the One” EP that is also selling briskly. Among Bri’s recent highlights are news that she’ll be performing on BET’s “Bobby Jones Gospel” program this fall and just yesterday she was summoned to the Louisiana state capital where she was honored by the Louisiana House of Representatives for her achievements as a student and rising star. Next weekend, she makes her first Big Apple concert appearance when she takes the stage at Milk River Restaurant in Brooklyn, NY on Sunday, June 14th @ 8 PM.
