30th Annual Stellar Awards Awards Delivered Highest Rated Weekend Primetime Premiere w/ 1.1+ Million Viewers

TV One’s Easter Sunday premiere of The 30th Annual Stellar Awards delivered .39 (228K) P25-54, .58 (174K) W25-54, and .62 (354K) HHld, posting the highest-rated weekend primetime premiere telecast this year in the demo.

The 30th Annual Stellar awards is the 3rd most watched telecast on the network this year behind the 46th Annual NAACP Image Awards and Unsung Hollywood: Redd Foxx. The award show’s premiere and encores combined to  reach 1.1 Million Viewers 2+.

Hailed as “Gospel music’s biggest night,” The 30th Annual Stellar Awards recognized the year’s most outstanding contributions in gospel music. The broadcast also featured the much-buzzed about performance of “Say Yes” by Michelle Williams featuring Kelly Rowland  and  Beyonce.

The 30th Annual Stellar Gospel Awards was executive produced by Don Jackson and produced by Barbara Wilson for Central City Productions. Jennifer Jackson served as Executive In Charge of Production. Craig Henry serves as Executive In Charge of Production for TV One. D’Angela Proctor serves as Head of Programming and Production for the network.
