Recent Motown Gospel signee Brian Courtney Wilson is preparing for a momentous occasion – his first live recording. Most recognized by his noteworthy works “All I Need” and “Already Here”, the Stellar Award Winner will showcase brand new music from his forthcoming album in Houston, Texas on July 25, 2014. The recording will be hosted at the downtown location of renowned worship facility, St. John’s United Methodist Church, where Rudy Rasmus presides as the Senior Pastor.
Wilson’s album will be a unique blend of studio productions and selections from the live recording. The album entitled, “Worth Fighting For” will be his debut release from the label. Entirely produced by Motown Gospel’s Vice President of A&R, Aaron Lindsey, the first single is slated to release this fall.
“I’m truly honored to see this recording come together,” Lindsey says, “Brian’s songs are lyrically and musically so relevant to the current hybrid sound of worship and gospel that this recording is going to be amazing!”
For Wilson, the preparation has been a labor of love that he is elated to unveil. “I am so thankful to be recording new music with this team and to share in the experience with my friends, family and supporters. In some ways it feels like a long time coming…in other ways it feels like it is right on time.”
The concert will begin at 7:30pm with doors opening at 7:00pm.
