William McDowell releases another powerful worship anthem “Send The Rain,” to all digital platforms today. The single will be part of an upcoming new live recording that is scheduled for early June.
Known for his now-classic hits “I Give Myself Away,” “I Won’t Go Back” and “Withholding Nothing” McDowell has quickly become the sound of Sunday mornings providing churches and worship teams around the globe with inspired profound anthems.
“Send the Rain,” falls right into that same vein. Inspired during McDowell’s inaugural 2014 Habitation Conference during a spontaneous and poignant moment of worship, “Send The Rain,” is a strong and beautiful song evoking a yearning need for God. Sonically it is the sound of revival and lyrically it is a passionate plea for God’s total presence.
McDowell continues to provide a level of music that is constant and unparalleled. His honest and pure approach to his music ministry is what sets the music apart making it more an experience than moment. He generously and consistently sings for One, and as listeners we are given the privilege to join him.
William is preparing for his fourth live recording slated for June 5, 2015 at Bethany Church in Baton Rouge, LA.
A true innovator in modern worship music, McDowell’s 2013 WITHHOLDING NOTHING has been heralded by critics and consumers as one of the best worship albums of the year and it was recently nominated for three Stellar Awards: Praise & Worship CD of the Year, Traditional CD of the Year and Traditional Male Vocalist of the Year. McDowell also received his first-ever Grammy Award nomination for Best Gospel Album.
McDowell is the Lead Pastor at Deeper Fellowship in Orlando, FL and he continues to travel the globe with his signature, effectual brand of gospel and worship music.
