Wow Gospel 2014 Debuts at Number 1

RCA Inspiration, Motown Gospel and Word Entertainment compiled an inspiring line-up of recording artists and music for the 17th edition of the WOW Gospel Music series, which debuted at #1 on the Gospel Chart and ranked 26 on the Top 200 this week.  WOW GOSPEL 2014 also outperforms 2013 and 2012 compilations in first week sales.

A two-disc compilation, boasting 30 songs and companion DVD with accompanying music videos, WOW GOSPEL 2014  features songs by Hezekiah Walker (“Every Praise”),Tasha Cobbs (“Break Every Chain”), Vashawn Mitchell Feat. Israel Houghton (“Greatest Man), James Fortune & FIYA (“Still Able”), Kurt Carr & The Kurt Carr Singers (“I’ve Seen Him Do It”), Shirley Caesar (“Good God”), Erica Campbell (“A Little More Jesus”), Kirk Franklin (“A God Like You”), Tye Tribbett (“If He Did It Before – Same God”), Mary Mary (“Go Get It”), Lecrae Feat. Mali Music (“Tell The World”), Kierra Sheard (“Trumpet Blows”) and Deitrick Haddon (“Have Your Way”) to list only a few.

First launched in 1998, the WOW Gospel Music Series is released annually and has enjoyed both critical acclaim and record sales success.  Each installment of the double CD has reached Gold certification status with several earning Platinum certifications. The WOW Gospel Series has sold over 8 million units to date.
