Worship Leader/Guitarist John Murray’s Live Recording “Release The Sound: An Intimate Worship Experience”

David Frazier and the Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs Series will present Release The Sound: An Intimate Worship Experience Live CD/DVD recording of new worship anthems by Elder, Psalmist and Worship Leader John Murray.  The recording will take place November 2-3 at Irving Bible Church, 2435 Kinwest Parkway, Irving TX.

Murray’s songwriting gifts began receiving national attention with the success of his song, “Speak (Into The Atmosphere)” which was recorded and made popular by Grammy Award Winning producer and singer Myron Butler.  Murray recently penned “Lord We Are Waiting” which is on Tamela Mann’s new Billboard chart topping CD Best Days.

Murray’s guitar talents are utilized by gospel’s best loved artists. Murray has played for Tramaine Hawkins, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, and Bishop Bruce Parham (for whom he is guitarist and musical director).  Murray is founder of the Philadelphia based ensemble John Murray & Worship who released John Murray & Worship – Heart Of A Worshipper CD in 2007.

Release The Sound: An Intimate Worship Experience will be John’s first recording since coming to Texas in 2007.  The Freehold, NJ guitarist and songwriter aims to offer listeners access to heartfelt worship through his various styles of Gospel music.  “With all that I have been blessed to do, I truly believe that this is the project God has been preparing me to do,”  Murray states.  “This recording promises to be an encounter with God.”
