The set features the group’s #1 hits “I Trust You” and “I Believe.” It also boasts one of its Top Ten hit “I Wouldn’t Know You” but the rest of the material is rare cuts such as “Over & Over Again,” a festive track that was never released on a James Fortune & FIYA album. It showcases Fortune doing his passionate signature emcee stance as Earnest Pugh, Shawn McLemore and M.D. Stokes sing verses of the urban flavored praise and worship jam.
Many people don’t realize that Fortune penned Earnest Pugh’s #1 hit “I Need Your Glory.” However, prior to Pugh’s rendition, the song was recorded by both Zacardi Cortez and William Murphy for Fortune CDs.
