Week of May 26, 2012 Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart: Mary Mary Debuts at #1, Deitrick Haddon’s Voices of Unity Enters Top 10

The dynamic Gospel singing duo known as Mary Mary has done it again! Not only did they debut at #1 on the Gospel chart with their new album, Go Get It, but they also debuted at #3 on the R&B chart as well. Another new addition to the top 10 is Deitrick Haddon’s group Voices of Unity with A Beautiful Soul: Music Inspired by the Motion Picture jumping from #16 to #10. Of course Mary Mary’s debut caused last week’s top 5 albums to shift, all dropping one spot.

Last week’s #1 spot belonged to Marvin Sapp’s I Win, which is now #2. WOW Gospel 2012 drops to #3 and the Joyful Noise Soundtrack drops to #4. Closing out the top 5 is Trip Lee with his latest album, The Good Life dropping to #5.

Following is Fred Hammond’s God, Love & Romance at #7 and JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise’s After This at #8. Concluding the top 10 is James Fortune & FIYA with Identity at #9.
